Fees: You will notice that there are four main fees. The Service Fee which, for many shops, is required to get the technician to the problem, and is generally as much as the Hourly Fee. The Hourly Fee is started when the technician gets into the vehicle, and stops when they return to the office. The Materials Fee is for the materials used on the job. Overtime is started when normal service hours are over in the afternoon, and ends when normal service hours begin. Weekends and Holidays are also considered overtime. The overtime rate is usually 1.5 times that of the normal rate, for example: $60 x 1.5 = $90.
